MEET PHIN

Phin, short for Seraphim, may be 4 foot 11, but do not let the height fool you. On the rugby pitch, she’s earned herself the nickname “angry midget,” and honestly, we’re not brave enough to argue with her.

Originally from London, with a chapter in Ireland before recently making the move to Australia, Phin brings a whole lot of personality, experience and caffeine to the salon. Most days, you’ll find her with a coffee in hand, singing along to something, and somehow managing to be both tiny and terrifyingly in charge.

As one of 13 siblings and the eldest girl, bossiness basically came built-in. Her siblings may hate to see her coming, but we like to think that same take-charge energy is exactly what makes her so good at what she does.

Phin started her hairdressing journey 10 years ago as a Saturday girl and fell in love with the industry fast. Since then, she’s built her skills, found her passion behind the chair and even took out Apprentice of the Year in 2017. These days, she especially loves working with blondes — creating bright, beautiful colour that feels fresh, polished and tailored to the person wearing it.

Outside the salon, Phin is usually hiking, at the beach, playing rugby, drinking coffee, or debating whether she actually prefers dogs over people.

She’s loud, loyal, talented and full of heart — and we’re so excited to have her as part of The Collective Hair Spa family.
